Cryptocurrency and digital payments are usually accepted by prior discussion.

2) Consultation fee.

Whilst we try not to charge for consultation in the process of purchasing our items or our handmade bespoke items. Occasionally we may deem it necessary to apply a fee for this often very complicated time-consuming process. Often this involves for us a very great deal of time-consuming communications, and very in-depth emails, containing drawings, photos, Videos, dimensions, and various pricing scales and estimates, as well as delivery costs quotes to various places around the world. This process can take many hours and even many days often too, to which unless the order is placed, we are not financially rewarded for, or to even cover our costs and extensive time spent.

So we reserve the right to charge for our time on extensive consultations without an order being placed on specific occasions.

This also applies to all canceled orders.

This protects us also as a business from time wasters and pranks.

Our time is very precious, especially only being a relatively small but elite company.

3)  Subcontractors working on behalf or for Elite:

You are expected to be fully insured to be working on any of our items or any of our client’s items, either be it at our own workshops or at your own work premises or work facilities or on-site for Elite. Any damages incurred on any of our items or the client’s items either on our premises or the client’s home/business etc, you are fully responsible and would be fully expected to cover and bare & pay for any costs incurred 100% for the full amount for any damage, etc.

This also applies to transport companies working for Elite

If you are not fully insured to the required standards, then you should strictly not be working for Elite Global and you are liable for legal prosecution under current UK law.

Payment will also only be made to a subcontractor once the job or jobs are fully finished and completed and to the desired high standards and specifications we expect.

The item or items will also need to be returned directly to the main premises by yourself or the company or via our own transport representatives of Elite

Once the works have been inspected by our expert team, and meet the relevant high standards we expect, then payment shall be made swiftly and directly accordingly.

4) Delivery / Transport:

It is best to inquire first about the possible delivery charges & possible dates of delivery before making a purchase.

You must also discuss with us and make us fully aware prior to any delivery of any specific special requests and requirements that will be required in delivering any of our items.

Prices are fluctuating constantly and it is solely the client’s responsibility to pay and bare all costs of the transport and delivery fees of any purchased items.

And any special terms and conditions required that would be needed to deliver the items safely.

We do try to dispatch our items as fast as we can, but the item must be to our very high standards before we send it. This may lead to a very small delay in the dispatch of the piece if it requires any finishing touches before we dispatch it. But you shall be notified of any delay in advance.

Timescales will vary greatly, depending on what items you have purchased and to what work are required.

This is hard to judge as every order is different and these items are generally bespoke specialist items.

This does also depend on our current workload and order book.

Refund payments can take up to 30 days.

Paypal Purchases & Fees:

We will only return the fee that we have actually received for the item or work carried out. We cannot be responsible for excessive Paypal fees incurred on any returns. Please inquire first before paying via Paypal, as the fee incurred by paying by Paypal is generally 3.4% and this extra fee will have to be paid by the buyer when purchasing the item unless otherwise agreed.

Although we do accept Paypal has a payment form by specific prior agreement.

Storage Fees:

We reserve the right to charge storage fees if we have stored the item or items for the client for many weeks, months, or even years.

This will also apply to any canceled orders.

You are responsible for its care & well-being.

Bespoke made-to-order specialist items:

Unless there is a genuinely valid reason, i.e the item was made or delivered not has described, or below our highly skilled acceptable standards, or with significant problems i.e damage, etc, we can not offer full refunds on these specific specialist orders, because of the expense in materials we will have incurred, time, and the unique specific requirements of each individual order.

Every company struggles to work under these conditions and restrictions now, with possible staff, and Elite team members in the high-risk categories, delays are unfortunately inevitable sometimes. Especially with Worldwide Government enforced lawful Lockdowns occurring sporadically.

This, however, is not deemed a valid reason to cancel any orders previously placed or restoration work pre-booked in.

We will complete your order or restoration works as soon as we can, working as best we can through whatever restrictions are in place.

Although we do offer free advice & help as much as possible with your purchased, restored, or French-polished item. The French Polished finish is resistant to, but not impervious to, water and spirits so please clear any spillage from the surface as soon as possible. Extremes of heat or cold should also be avoided. The finish can be maintained by using a good quality beeswax polish every two to three months. On no account should polishes containing silicones be used on any piece.

9) VAT:

We are not currently VAT registered, so there is no VAT to be added on to any orders or work we carry out presently.

10) How to Maintain a freshly French polished item.

Any piece of furniture should be dusted on a regular basis; ours is no different. Using a soft clean cloth always wipe in the direction of the grain and avoid circular rotating movements.
To remove any greasy marks use a soft cloth lightly dampened with warm water mixed with a little vinegar or mild detergent such as washing up liquid. Apply the solution wiping in the direction of the grain and after wiping using a clean dry cloth lightly buff up the surface, again wiping in the direction of the grain.
For stubborn marks substitute the water solution with white spirit or turpentine and apply in the same way as above before buffing with a clean soft cloth. It should be noted that if the white spirit/turpentine solution is used too often you will need to re-wax the surfaces being cleaned.
Waxing Your Furniture

PLEASE NOTE UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANY SILICONES OR SILICONE IMPREGNATED CLOTHS BE USED IN ANY OF THESE CLEANING OR WAXING PROCESSES.

If applied they can leave a silicone film that will cloud the finish and in turn prevent general repairs from being carried out easily.
The final finishing process involves completely waxing your piece of furniture by hand therefore all Elite furniture that leaves are showroom will not need to be waxed for at least twelve to eighteen months.
When new wax is applied, a nonsilicone furniture wax should be used very sparingly.
Apply any wax using a soft clean cloth again wiping in the direction of the grain. A second clean cloth should then be used to remove any excess wax and buff the surface.
